"CG is a responsible and caring babysitter who is mature beyond her years. She regularly watched my 3 children (6 yo girl, 3 yo girl, and 1 yo boy) from Fall 2023 - Spring 2024. Due to her youth and my prior experience with teenaged babysitters, I gave her few responsibilities at first beyond playing with my two older girls. In fact, I did not even expect to leave my toddler with her as he required constant oversight. However, time and time again, CG surprised me with her capacity and willingness to help. During her first shift, she voluntarily emptied my dishwasher and asked if there was anything else she could do. She happily read books to my girls and found fun ways to engage them. After a month, I realized that she was capable of juggling light household tasks alongside babysitting my girls and began identifying small ways she could help. CG regularly helped my girls clean up after their activities, reset their bedrooms, and sometimes even put their laundry away. I tried to be mindful that her primary responsibility was to watch my children; but when needs arose, every request of mine was met with a positive 'can-do' spirit. All this to say, CG is an incredibly talented and responsible young woman who will take great care of the children entrusted to her. Our whole family misses her and wishes we could’ve had her with us for much longer!
